Dr. Dana Anthony Yip is a different kind of dentist. With his creativity and positive nature, he gets children involved and excited about their dental care.

Dr. Yip earned two bachelors degrees in Biology and Art at Rice University in Houston. When he was not studying or painting, he operated a tutoring service for children with special needs. He then pursued his doctorate at the University of Texas School of Dentistry and noticed that he had a special connection with his young dental patients. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, he moved north to the University of Minnesota, where he received his Masters in Oral Sciences and Pediatric specialty. This rare designation is earned by fewer than 3% of all dentists. Dr. Yip's love of the outdoors drew him to the Pacific Northwest.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Clackamas Dental Society. Dr. Yip resides in West Linn with his wife Emily and newborn son Ethan. Dr. Yip's hobbies include skiing, mountain biking, and growing Christmas trees.
