You have paid us the greatest compliment by allowing us to provide your child's dental care.
Our office, as well as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, recommends that your child visit the dentist by his/her 1st birthday. You can make the first visit to the dentist enjoyable and positive. Your child should be informed of the visit and told that the dentist and staff will explain all procedures and answer any questions. The less to-do concerning the visit, the better.
It is best if you refrain from using words around your child that might cause unnecessary fear, such as needle, pull, drill or hurt. The office makes a practice of using words that convey the same message, but are pleasant and non-frightening to the child.
Your child's first visit will include a complete examination performed by Dr. Yip. Radiographs may be obtained of your child's teeth. Following the clinical examination, Dr. Yip will consult with you to address any concerns or answer any questions you may have.
While you are visiting our office, your child is welcome to enjoy Disney movies and video games over the dental chairs. You are welcome to accompany your child or just sit back and websurf in our reception area.
For your convenience, we have provided five necessary forms listed below. You may choose to open the these forms using either Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat. Please print and fill them out in the comfort of your home. You may bring them in on your first visit.
If you are an existing patient
moving out of the area, please fill out the Release of Records form to authorize a records transfer to your new dentist.
