Dr. Yip is a different kind of dentist. With his creativity and positive nature, he gets children involved and excited about their dental care. For over 10 years straight, he has been honored to be voted Top Pediatric Dentist in Portland Monthly Magazine.
Education & Experience
- Valedictorian of his high school class; double bachelor's degrees in Biology and Art at Rice University, TX.
- Founded a tutoring service for children and teenagers while in college.
- Doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center — ranked "Number One" dental school by US News and World Report; graduated Magna Cum Laude.
- Master of Oral Sciences & Pediatric specialty, University of Minnesota — a designation earned by fewer than 3% of all dentists.
Hospital Staff & Memberships
On the medical staff at Legacy-Emanuel, Kaiser-Permanente, and Providence Hospitals. Active member of the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Oregon Dental Association; past president of the Clackamas Dental Society.
He resides in West Linn with his family. Hobbies include volunteering in the community, skiing, mountain biking, and pickleball. His love of the outdoors drew him to the Pacific Northwest.
