Sheldon's Big Rainforest Smile!

Deep in the green rainforest, little Sheldon the Turtle took a gentle peek inside. He was wearing his favorite green backpack.

"Welcome, Sheldon!" cheered Tiki the Tree Frog with a big bouncy wave. Ribbit-wheee! 🐸

"This isn't a scary place at all," whispered Sheldon. There were tropical palm leaves, friendly animal friends, and warm smiles everywhere.

"Are you ready to explore?" asked Hamilton the Lizard. Sheldon nodded: "Let's go!"

Sheldon climbed into the big, comfy green dental chair. It was softer than a fluffy rainforest cloud!

Dr. Yip stepped on a tiny magic foot pedal.

Wheee-eeee! 🚀 The chair gently floated up towards the treetops!

Then it tilted back like a cozy hammock so Sheldon could look up at the ceiling. "It feels like a rocket ship ride!" giggled Sheldon.

"Every cool jungle explorer needs special gear," said Hamilton the Lizard, handing Sheldon bright star sunglasses.

Dr. Yip clicked on the overhead examination light. Click-sparkle! ☀️

It was warm and bright, just like the gentle Oregon sun shining through the leafy tree canopy.

"My sunglasses keep my eyes super comfy!" Sheldon smiled. "I look like a rock-star turtle!"

"Time for a smile photo shoot!" chirped Tiki the Tree Frog.

Dr. Yip placed a cozy, heavy blue vest on Sheldon. "You look like a brave rainforest superhero in armor!" whispered Hamilton the Lizard.

Then Dr. Yip held a friendly round camera next to Sheldon's cheek. "Freeze like a funny turtle statue for two seconds!"

Beep-beep... Click! 📸

A smile treasure map popped onto the computer screen! It showed Sheldon's teeth smiling from the inside out. "I can see my secret tooth roots!" cheered Sheldon.

Dr. Yip held up a shiny round mirror on a smooth wand.

"Can you open wide like a friendly jungle hippo?" sang Tiki. Ahhhh! 🦛

Sheldon opened his mouth: "Aaaah!"

Dr. Yip guided the tiny mirror inside. "Peek-a-boo!" squeaked Hamilton the Lizard. "This magic mirror lets Dr. Yip see behind, between, and on top of every single tooth!"

Next, Dr. Yip picked up a gentle tooth counter with a smooth, tiny tip.

Tap, tap, tap! 🎵

"One, two, three, four... shiny teeth!" counted Hamilton the Lizard.

Dr. Yip tapped each tooth to make sure it was strong, healthy, and happy. It tickled Sheldon's tongue just a little bit!

"Your teeth are strong as turtle armor, Sheldon!" smiled Dr. Yip.

"Here comes my favorite silly friend," whispered Tiki the Tree Frog. "Meet Mr. Thirsty!"

Mr. Thirsty was a friendly blue bendy straw who loved drinking water.

Dr. Yip gave Sheldon's teeth a gentle rinse with water drops, and Mr. Thirsty went: Slurp! Slurp! Slurrrr-up! 🥤

He drank up all the water drops so Sheldon didn't even have to swallow. "He tickles my cheek!" giggled Sheldon.

"Time for a sparkling bubble bath!" said Dr. Yip.

He brought out the special spinning tickle-brush with super soft rubber cups. "What flavor do you want, Sheldon?"

"Strawberry!" said Sheldon happily.

Whirrr-whirrr-whirrr! 🍓 The soft brush tickled Sheldon's teeth with sweet pink bubbles. "It tickles like a caterpillar dancing on my smile!"

"Sometimes," whispered Tiki, "a sneaky sugar bug leaves a tiny hole in a tooth."

Sheldon wasn't worried. Dr. Yip dabbed sweet strawberry sleepy jelly on Sheldon's gum so his tooth could take a cozy nap.

Next came the gentle Tooth Shower! Swish-bubble-bubble! 🫧 Cool water washed all the sugar bugs away.

Then Dr. Yip painted a white Star Patch and tapped it with a magic blue sunshine wand. Twinkle-gleam! ✨

The star patch hardened into super-strong enamel armor! "My tooth is all fixed and superhero-ready!" beamed Sheldon.

With a soft little paintbrush, Dr. Yip painted a clear, tasty vitamin shield onto Sheldon's teeth.

Gleam-twinkle! ✨

"This shield keeps sugar bugs away and makes enamel super strong," explained Tiki.

"Just like your tough turtle shell keeps you safe in the rainforest!" said Hamilton.

Sheldon licked his teeth — they felt squeaky clean, shiny, and strong!

"You were the bravest explorer in the rainforest, Sheldon!" cheered Dr. Yip with a big high-five. High-Five! ✋

Dr. Yip placed a shiny, heavy Golden Token right into Sheldon's hand!

Sheldon marched over to the tall wooden Rainforest Toy Machine. He dropped his coin into the slot: Clink-clink! 🪙

He grabbed the big silver handle and turned it with all his might: Clack-clack-click!

PLOP! A sparkling rainbow prize capsule rolled down the chute! Inside was a rainforest bouncy ball and a shiny superstar sticker.

"Visiting Dr. Yip was so much fun!" cheered Sheldon. "I can't wait for my next checkup!"
